Matthew Spieker
Bio:Matthew H. Spieker has been a music educator for over thirty years and has taught strings and general music in the U.S. and abroad in Germany. He is an Associate Music Education Professor at Ball State University, a conductor of ensembles with YSOECI, and coordinates the Partnership Program. Dr. Spieker has numerous publications including a book, String Tech: An Introduction to String Playing, articles in both trade and research journals, and compositions for youth. Dr. Spieker also conducts many honor ensembles and adjudicates/clinics at various festivals around the country.
