Description: Two familiar square dance tunes, “Sourwood Mountain” and “Old Joe Clark” comprise this arrangement for three trombones. These traditional American tunes were influenced by the Irish, Scottish, and English folk songs sung by the settlers in the Appalachian Mountains. They became more than just folk songs for they were, indeed, a critical part of life in early America. Also available for three horns.
