Description: A brilliant and stunning suite from a Renaissance master, this work has been skillfully arranged for tuba-euphonium quartet. Susato wrote themes that later composers find intriguing. His music, for that reason, is often used for more modern themes and variations. This suite remains all Susato, however, giving us great insight into his style and harmonic language. The music is resonant and beautiful, with artful parts for all players. Both treble and bass clef parts are provided for the two Euphonium parts. Movements: 1. La Mourisque; 2. Ronde; 3. Saltarelle; 4. Pavane; 5. Pour Quatre.
