Description: Giulio Briccialdi wrote his flute concertos—including the Concerto (Duet) for Two Flutes and Orchestra—for strictly personal use, and they were never published despite his strong ties with the leading publishers of Europe. However, the concerto was issued in a slightly altered version with piano accompaniment under the title Duo Brillante. Both the orchestral and piano versions bear the opus number 130.
