
Founded in 1926, Edwin F. Kalmus is the oldest reprint publisher in the United States. Previously located in Boca Raton, FL, the company was moved to Jacksonville in 2018, and sold to Keiser Productions Inc. in 2020. In addition to the well-known and improved reprint catalog, new series and editions are also being developed.

Description:
Girolamo Frescobaldi (1583-1643) originally wrote the ARIA CON VARIAZIONE DETTA ‘LA FRESCOBALDA’ for organ or harpsichord and it was included in the 1627 Toccate e partite d’intavolatura, Libro 2 (No. 32). Following the statement of the melody, the work includes four variations. This arrangement for string orchestra was completed in 1960 by Roberto Caggiano. 8-8-5-5-5 strings included in the set. Reprint edition.
