Founded in 1926, Edwin F. Kalmus is the oldest reprint publisher in the United States.  Previously located in Boca Raton, FL, the company was moved to Jacksonville in 2018, and sold to Keiser Productions Inc. in 2020.  In addition to the well-known and improved reprint catalog, new series and editions are also being developed.

Description:

HOLOUBEK (THE WILD DOVE), Op. 110/B. 198, is an orchestra poem composed by Anton�n Dvor�k (1841-1904) in 1896. Revised in January of the next year, it tells the story of a woman who poisons her husband. Pretending to grieve at his funeral, she catches the attention of a young man who later marries her. But a wild dove lands on the grave of her murdered husband, eventually driving her to regret and suicide. The work premiered on March 20, 1898 in Brno, Leo Jan�cek conducting.
