Description: Written in 1969, Songs of Abelard relects on the life of the French philosopher and theologian, Peter Abelard, and his beloved, Heloise, an abbess. The music was originally written for a Martha Graham ballet entitled, “A Time of Snow.” The songs were a part of the ballet performance. Orchestra accompaniment available through publisher’s rental department.
